All the details and dates for the 2012 H4H Turkey Run will be announced in early March. Stay Tuned!
The Harleys for Humanity Support group has a major fund raising event in October each year, and this is called the Turkey Run. The Turkey Run was named in memory of Sandy Philp, who passed away on the 18th of March 2005 after a battle with Asbestosis. As Sandy was born in Uralla it was decided that there should be a memorial ride each year from Newcastle where Sandy lived to Uralla where he was born. We also remember 3 other lost mates over the last few years in, Ian Rawlings, Keg Thompson and Barry Farrell. Click here for our Tributes.

The Turkey Run attracts 400 plus riders and pillion passengers from all over NSW and interstate to be part of this event. Heavy Duty and Live to Ride are 2 national bike magazines that cover this event and post stories each year on the success the ride continues to have. The Turkey run brings an estimated $180,000.00 into the Town of Uralla over the Friday afternoon through to Sunday morning event. It is envisaged that this event will become one of the great events over the ensuing years that people will want to attend each year.
The Turkey is open to all riders and all makes of motorcycles. We do not accept entry to the event by Outlaw Motorcycle members. Entry to the event is at the discretion of the Chairman and the committee of Harleys for Humanity & Friends.
