H4H evolved in September of 2001. It is the brainchild of David Golledge who had a vision to get a few mates together on their Harleys and go for a ride to raise some money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. This initial concept developed beyond expectations in a very short period of time, and is now one of the most productive, both financially and promotionally of all of the support groups for the service in Newcastle and New England regions.
H4H became incorporated in December 2010 and is now known as Harleys for Humanity Inc and H4H Inc. Both entities have their own ABN and both have an authority to fund raise. Authority Number CFN21905 issued by the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing.
H4H raises much needed funds for the following charities and recipients.
Last year's recipients were:
• Beyond Blue • Muscular Dystrophy • Cerebral Palsy • A Community Recipient • Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service
